Hi, I'm Daniel!
Based in Wise, Virginia, I am an Educational Technologist with 19 years of experience dedicated to the intersection of pedagogy and digital innovation. I currently serve as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Virginia Society for Technology in Education (VSTE), where I advocate for impactful technology integration across the Commonwealth.
My foundation in education began in high school mathematics after earning a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Virginia's College at Wise in 2007. I later completed an M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University in 2011. In my current role with Wise County Public Schools, I lead professional development and provide essential technology support to empower educators and students alike.
In addition to my work in public education, I am the founder of Vanover Legacy Enterprises, LLC, where I blend my technical background with artisan woodworking and design. I am also proud to serve as the Worshipful Master of Hoge Lodge #8, A.F. & A.M. in Wise, Virginia.
